Shashpar baba sacred place – placed in Soltannukha village of Gabala region Shashpar baba has great trust in here. This is the place of praying for each inhabitant of Gabala. On their way passing near Gabala they pray and give charity here. Shashpar baba was born approximately in the beginning of the XIX century and died in 1870 year. He had six fingers on each hand and foot from the birth and suffered from the stone cavity. Who ever came to him his prays were useful. He has been the divine person and was idolized being in life. His spirit helped to everyone who came with hope so much that he was considered the sacred creature as the showing lighted way to the child. Day-by-day as the number of visitors increased his property was enlarging. And Shahpar baba in his turn helped those who were lonely and lived in poverty. The place where he lived in Soltannukha was called “mullah district” and is still called like that. His nears Mullah Said and Mullah Gadir were the persons who took specimen from him, they entrusted the people who were far from the bad inventions. At present the house where Shashpar baba lived is the sacred place. His tomb at the cemetery was renovated, the cupola was built above it. The special places have been built in here for the visitors of Shashpar baba, the conditions have been created for their comfortableness. The artesian water was lead to the sacred place and killing for sacrifices became easier.
