The reason is sulfur in the structure of the earth. This Burning spring is interesting for local and foreign people. Such belief has been formed among people living in the region that if someone has any illness and drinks this medicinal water of this spring, will get healed. According to the words of the local people, this spring has been formed 40 years ago. After laboratory investigation, sulphide matter has been found in the water. Therefore it burns. The spring water is not suitable for drinking or cooking because of its solution. Therefore the water is used only in life.

The spring water has medical importance. According to people’s words, it is possible to recover from a number of illnesses including kidney diseases by drinking this water.The Burning spring complex in Archivan village is protected state important historical monument.
