Alban temple (Ashaghy Askipara) – There is no common idea between the explorers about the Albanian Christian temple situated in Ashaghy Askipara village of Gazakh district. A.L. Jacobson concerns it to the VI century, I.P. Shablikin – to the VII-IX centuries, D. Sharifov – to the X-XI centuries. The temple has got the four-absided building with the cupola. The high eight-pointed drum is completed with the low cone-style roof. The temple has got two doors from the south and west sides. The sanctuary is located on the east side. It is surrounded with niches from both sides. The temple’s floor has been worked out with the four-cornered limestones.
