The temple in Dastafure – is a temple constructed in XV century in Dastafur village of Dashkesan region. In Soviet times here under the pretext of restoration Armenians worked and took advantage of hospitality of local population; however, despite all diligence, they could not manage to appropriate this divine house. In spite of the fact that crosses and other religious subjects from churches have been stolen and taken out to other countries, all attempts to appropriate the Albanian church under the pretext of the Gregorian totally failed. Vandals of 20th century have blown up this magnificent church – whether with jealousy, or in a gold-rush attack. In spite of the fact that two arches have fallen off, the church resisted. False Armenian inscriptions and the ornaments later put by Armenians on walls and a tower of this monument of architecture, constructed in direct nearby from village Dastafur can"t change anything. The Albanian temple covers a territory of 700 м2.
