Khynalyg Temple of fire – Located on 2300 metres height Khynalyg village attracts attention with its unique architecture construction and position. Population of Khynalyg has been fire-worshippers, idolized the fire before Islam religion. There is the place where natural gas comes out in 4-5 metres away of Khynalyg village, that same place is called “Temple of fire”. Temple of fire is located 5 metres away to the north of Khynalyg, at the south foot of Haydar Aliyev peak having 2600 metres height. Because of the gas coming out of the ground and burning it’s called Temple of fire. Taking into consideration the fact that the population of Khynalyg has been fire-worshippers, this Temple of fire is considered sacred place. There is the road for automobiles.
