The orchestra"s repertoire encompasses more than 200 works of Western European, Russian and Azerbaijani composers. In recent years, under the initiative and guidance of Teymur Goychayev, there are held concert projects with mugham singers. Unlike the traditional performance of Mugham dastgahs by singers and mugham trios, colours and melody are conveyed through the accompaniment of the orchestra which creates an interesting sounding.
