A village in Zangibasar county, on the territory of Zangibasar district, at the intersection of the rivers of Araz and Zangi.

Only Azerbaijani Turks lived in the village. In 1894 there were 75 people living in the village, in 1905 - 63 people, in 1914 - 81 people.

In 1917-1918, residents of the village, which was subjected to Armenian aggression, along with residents of neighboring Azerbaijani villages emigrated to Turkey from Araz, and after the establishment of Soviet authority in the region returned to their native villages.

In 1922 the number of returnees was 67, and the population of the village dropped to 59 in 1931. The village was subordinated to the Seidkend Village Council.

  1. In 1948, the population of the village was once again subjected to genocide and deported to Azerbaijan. The village was liquidated, and its territory was transferred to the newly established Kalinin State Farm on the basis of the village of Khabilkend. The Guludzhan residents who returned to their native village a few years later lived in their native village, but in the official documents they were already considered residents of the Kalinin settlement.

The shrine in Agadegh was near the village of Guludzhan.
