Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva attended the event which marked the World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and New Year.
Famous pianist Murad Huseynov delighted the audience with works of national and foreign composers.
The concert featured Claude Debussy's "Moonlight", Maurice Ravel's "Sonatine", Frederick Chopin's "Nocturne", "Waltz" and Polonaise", Vasif Adygozalov's "Prelude", Adil Babirov's "Prelude-Scherzo" as well as "Dedication" by Franz Liszt and Robert Schumann.
The pianist shared the same stage with famous conductor Javad Taghizade (violin). The musicians captivated listeners with Bela Bartok's Romanian Dances for Piano and Violin
At the end of the concert, Murad Huseynov, Honored Artist Sahib Pashazade (tar), Javad Taghizade (violin) and Seymour Hasanov (accordion) performed excerpts from famous music pieces.
The Times has listed Heydar Aliyev Center amongst the best architecture of the past decade.
"Built on the site of a former Soviet munitions factory, the center's architecture embodies an enlightened philosophical framework. Its fluid forms promise to open and engage Azerbaijan’s culture with an act of attraction rather than imposition," the message said.
Named "Design of the Year" by London’s DesignMuseum, the centre was cited as "a masterwork of invention and execution."
One of the internationally recognized architectural works, the building of the Heydar Aliyev Center has become a signature landmark of modern Baku.
Designed by architect Zaha Hadid, the center is noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles.
As a symbol of tasks assigned to the center, the logo of Heydar Aliyev Center also reflects the motto of passing the national and universal values, traditions of statehood to the future generations. And the motto is "To the Future with Values".
Heydar Aliyev Center is a complex construction, which includes an auditorium (congress center), a museum, exhibition halls and administrative offices. Following a design competition in 2007, Zaha Hadid Architects was chosen to oversee the design of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The Center holds exhibitions and concerts with the purpose of supporting the development of culture and introducing world culture to Azerbaijan, and expands the relations between countries and people through its projects.
World-famous pianist and composer Isfar Sarabski has hold a press conference at International Mugham Center.
The press-conference was timed to the release of "Horses of Karabakh" music piece, recorded in partnership with Warner Music Group (WMG).
Speaking about new project, Isfar stressed the importance of cooperation with famous music label.
The musician dreamed of cooperation with the Warner Music Group (WMG), one of the world's largest music companies.
Despite the fact that negotiations on cooperation were held in London, the final decision was made after the musician's performance at Jazzahead festival held in Germany.
The large-scale festival has very strict rules for the selection of participants. Only 17-18 out of 300 were selected for participation in the festival.
At press conference, Isfar Sarabski also spoke about the upcoming albums.
His first album will feature jazz music. The album's release is scheduled for June,2020. Music lovers have a chance to enjoy two new tracks before the album release.
The music album will be presented in Hamburg on June 11-12, 2020. Two performances will be organized as part of the music release. All concert tickets have already been sold out.
His second album will feature electronic music. The first single is expected in August-September 2020. The album will be released at the end of 2020.
Speaking about collaborate with Azerbaijani musicians, Isfar replied that he did not exclude such a possibility.

Isfar Rzayev, better known as Isfar Sarabski, is the great-grandson of opera singer Huseyngulu Sarabski. His musical talent manifested itself at an early age.
Musician began playing the piano at the age of seven. Sarabski studied classic piano for eleven years at the Bulbul Music School. After that, he continued his education at the Baku Music Academy.
He completed his studies at the Academy in 2011, graduating as a classical concert pianist. In the same year the pianist received a scholarship from the Berklee Music College, Boston, and the U.S.
After that, the musician formed the Isfar Sarabski Trio with Moscow-based musicians Alexander Mashin (drums) and Makar Novikov (bass). The trio has performed in many festivals and concert venues across North America and Europe.
Azerbaijan's young virtuoso has performed in the most prestigious concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Miles Davis Hall, the Vibrato Jazz Club, Jazz Club Ronnie Scott's, the Zinco Jazz Club, the Konzerthaus, Asphalt Jazz Club, Duc des Lombards Jazz Club, Porgy & Bess Jazz Club, Bird’s Eye Jazz Club and the Apollo Theater.

The fashion show featured young models and their mothers in stunning dresses. The winners of the catwalk contest were chosen by Honored Art Worker Samira Aliyeva, honored Artists Husniya Murvetova and Elza Seidjahan, composer Maryam Alibayli and artist Ilgar Akbarov.
Among girls, the first place went to Fidan Novruzlu, Havva Azayeva was placed second, while Nilay Aliyeva ranked third.
Karim Karimzade was named best model among boys. Emil Aliyev took the second place, while Javid Nazaraliev was third.

A photo exhibition has solemnly opened at Heydar Aliyev Center as part of "My Azerbaijan" photo contest.
The exhibition features a wonderful selection of 165 photographs that capture the country's beautiful nature, ancient history, rich culture and social life of people.
Over 3,000 photographs were submitted to the competition announced by the Regional Development Public Association and Orkhan Aslanov Studio.
The photo contest aims at increasing young people's interest in photography and discovering young talents.
Famous photographer Orkhan Aslanov, who spoke at the event, expressed his gratitude to the Heydar Aliyev Center and the Regional Development Public Association for hosting the exhibition. He stressed that the main goal of the project was to bring together non-professional photographers.

Marvelous performance has been presented in honor of the 650th anniversary of the great Azerbaijani poet Imadaddin Nasimi and the Year of Nasimi in Azerbaijan.
The Minister of Culture Abulfas Garayev, prominent public and art figures were among the guests of the event.
The performance was created on the basis of the work "Passion Nasimi" by the chairman of the Azerbaijani Composers' Union, People’s Artist Firangiz Alizadeh.
"Nasimi Passion" has already been recorded and sold out in many countries. Many listeners still remember its successful world premiere in Amsterdam.
The new performance, which is a project of the Culture Ministry, was staged by the Russian choreographer Edvald Smirnov together with his counterpart famous national choreographer Jeyhun Gubadov.
The project brought together the Azerbaijan State Symphony Orchestra, the State Choir, the Fikrat Amirov State Song and Dance Ensemble as well as the winners of "Nasimi poetry" contest
The musical director and conductor of the performance was People's Artist, Professor Fakhraddin Karimov, choirmaster-artistic director of the Azerbaijan State Choir, People's Artist Gulbaji Imanova, costume and sketch Designer - Nazim Yunusov.
The role of Nasimi was played by the young soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Taleh Yakhyayev, who brilliantly demonstrated his vocal range. The performance totally captivated the audience.
Seyyid Imadeddin Nasimi was a great Azerbaijani poet and eminent figure in the poetry and philosophical thought of the Orient. He was the founder of the school of philosophical poetry in the Azerbaijani language.
The poet created myriads of works in Azerbaijani, Persian and Arabic. The poet wrote about 300 poems, including ghazals, gasidas ("lyrics"), and rubais (quatrains). Nasimi’s Turkic Divan is considered his most important work, which contains 250-300 ghazals and more than 150 rubais.
His poetry is rooted in the social, political and cultural development of the countries of the Near and Middle East, and especially of his homeland, Azerbaijan.
After his death, Nasimi's works continued to exercise a great influence on many Turkic language poets such as Fuzuli (1483–1556), Khatai (1487–1524).

The museum is located in 5 rooms, each of which is devoted to a specific period in the life of the creator. The house museum stores about 500 exhibits.
The exhibits reflect Jalil Mammadguluzadeh’s childhood, youth and education memories, school activities, his first journalistic and literary activity.

The Old City Museum Center has signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation with the Kazan Kremlin Historic-Architectural and Art museum-Reserve.
