Azerbaijani artist Narmina Najafova has showcased her art pieces in Turkey.
The exhibition features over 34 paintings most of which are beautiful still lifes and picturesque landscapes.
Speaking about her first personal exhibition, Narmina Najafova said that she has always wanted to share her art with others, Trend Life reported.
Narmina Najafova also expressed her hope to showcase her art in every corner of Azerbaijan.
She thanked everyone who attended the exhibition and supported her.
Narmina Najafova is a member of the UNESCO's Union of Artists. She studied the art of painting for two years under the guidance of the two talented artists Esmira Gul and Rafig Aziz.
Over this time, Narmina Najafova has created around 60 art works. Her art teachers has always supported her creative path.
The works presented at the exhibition aroused great interest among the guests of the event.

People's Artist Akram Poladov (Rustam bay), Honored Artists Inara Babayeva (Gulnaz), Jahangir Gurbanov (Gochu Asgar), Gulustan Aliyeva (Senem), Alakbar Aliyev (Hasangulu bay), Tural Aghasiyev (Rza bay), soloist Fakhmin Ahmadli (Hasan bay) and others performed in the musical comedy under the baton of the Honored Cultural Worker Sevil Hajiyeva. The musical comedy was directed by the Honored Cultural Worker Hafiz Guliyev.
People's Artist Azer Zeynalov (Mashadi Ibad) and Honored Artist Ramil Gasimov (Sarvar) played the main parts in the opera. Notably, Ramil Gasimov embodied Sarvar 22 years ago, when he was only 15 years old.
History behind musical comedy
"If Not This One, Then That One" is a musical comedy (operetta) in four acts by the outstanding Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibayli, written in 1910 year.
It reflects social and everyday relations in pre-revolutionary Azerbaijan. This is the second work of the composer in this genre. Along with his third operetta "The Cloth Peddler", it is also considered a national classic.
In the music, Uzeyir Hajibayli used folk and mugham music, while the text featured Fuzuli's ghazals.
The musical comedy premiered on April 25, 1911 at the same theater.
Through his comedy, Uzeyir Hajibayli reveals social and everyday prejudices widespread in society at the beginning of the 20th century.
The musical comedy shows different types of people and reveals human vices hypocrisy, cowardice, greed, etc.
For many years, the work has been successfully staged at various theater venues, shown at international festivals. Moreover, the film of the same name was produced as well.
Nizami's poetry has been presented at the Gara Garayev Central School of Arts.
The artistic evening opened with a video presentation about musical instruments described in the poet's works.
The video also highlighted the embodiment of Nizami's heritage in composing art and works written on the basis of the poet's works that enriched national musical culture.
The guests were also presented with a video about the influence of Nizami's heritage on miniature art, carpet weaving, scientific research of international centers.
Furthermore, students and teachers of the school performed dance numbers. Then the guests enjoyed art piece s by talented artists Nigar Shikhaliyeva and Ali Agadadashev.

In Khamsa (Quintet), the poet revealed the living pages of history.
The attack of the Russians on Barda city, a fairy tale of the Russian Princess, the beautiful Shirin amazons, battles, described in various poems of Nizami - all this is historically and geographically related to medieval Azerbaijan and the Caucasus.
Nizami Ganjavi passed away in 1209 in his native city of Ganja. A grandiose tomb was raised over his grave.

Another national artist Nihad Aliyev presented incredible portraits of famous art and cultural figures.
The exhibition was greeted with great interest by the Parisian public.
The guests enthusiastically viewed art pieces noting the artists' professionalism and technique.
Founded in 2017, Togrul Narimanbayov's Association aims to strengthen cultural ties between Azerbaijan and France.
Headed by the artist's daughter Asmar Narimanbayova, the association is actively involved in the promotion of young talents from around the world. It successfully cooperates with leading world organizations.
The association focuses on cultural exchange between art workers from different countries.

Nizami Ganjavi's monument has been erected in Minsk, Belarus.
The monument to Azerbaijani poet and thinker was installed by the presidential order of Ilham Aliyev declaring 2021 the Year of Nizami Ganjavi.
The statue stands next to the building of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Belarus.
Designed by People's Artist Salhab Mammadov, the monument reaches 3.5 meters.
The official opening of the monument is expected in the near future.

The Russian Tretyakov Gallery will display 50 art works of prominent artist Tahir Salahov next year.
The exhibition will be organized in partnership with Heydar Aliyev Foundation, CSAR Center, the Venetian University Ca'Foscari, the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow.
This will be the first major international exhibition of artist in Europe.
The exhibition will feature Tahir Salahov's paintings stored at the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Museum of Oriental Art in Moscow and Azerbaijani museums.
The exhibition of works by the world famous artist will be held from April to September. It will continue a project dedicated to three Soviet artists of the "severe style" who participated in the 1962 Venice Biennale.
Notably, Tahir Salahov's art works have been displayed in the world-famous museums across Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine and other countries. His paintings are kept in many private collections.
Salahov served as the chairman of the Union of Azerbaijan Artists, a deputy of the Supreme Council of the Republic.
In 1973, he was elected first secretary of the Union of Artists of the USSR, and in 1997 he was elected vice-president of the Russian Academy of Arts.
People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Tahir Salahov passed away in Germany this May.
A mobile photo exhibition dedicated to Nizami Ganjavi has been held in Pakistan and Indonesia.
The project was organized by the Eurasian Regional Center of the Islamic Cooperation Youth Forum (ICYF-ERC) in partnership with the Arts Council Azerbaijan (NGO) to celebrate the poet`s 880th anniversary
The exhibtions were held central streets and squares of Lahore (Pakistan) and Jakarta (Indonesia).
The photo exhibitions showcased the main characters from Nizami's poem "Seven Beauties". During the exhibition, the questions from residents who came to see the exhibition were answered as well.
The Indonesian OIC Youth Forum and the Pakistan Youth Advocacy Network provided organizational support for these events.
Along with other events, international conferences, dedicated to the 880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi were held in Jakarta and Lahore during this year with the participation of both local and Azerbaijani scientists, lecturers and students in both online or auditorial format.
Similar events were held in a number of other countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan with the organization and partnership of the ICYF-ERC.
The main goals of such events, organized by the ICYF-ERC, are to contribute to the establishment of cultural relationships between peoples, getting information about the cultures by the youth and dissemination of Nizami’s heritage in Islamic domain.
The State Film Fund has opened an exhibition dedicated to prominent film director and screenwriter Hasan Seyidbayli (1920-1980).
The exhibition displays over 40 photographs that reflect the life and work of the filmmaker. These photographs are stored in the personal archive of Hasan Seyidbayli at the State Film Fund.
The State Film Fund also screened documentary to mark the film director's 101st anniversary. The documentary was filmed by Honored Art Worker Yaver Rzayev.
Hasan Seyidbayli is the author of such screenplays as "To my dear nation" (1954), "Under the sultry sky" (1957), "On distant shores" (1958), etc.
He is the author of screenplays and director of films such as "Telephonist girl" (1962), "Why are you silent?" (1962), "Find the girl" (1970), and "Value of happiness" (1976).
Hasan Seyidbayli also produced the film "Nasimi" that won the first-place prize at the 7th All-Union Festival in Baku.
From 1963 to 1980, he was the chairman of Azerbaijan Union of Filmmakers.
