The offer of kid's clothing lines includes a full range of products. Moreover, it one of the fastest growing segments of the clothing market in some countries.

Kids Fashion Show "Winter Fairytale 2019" is a unique platform which helps fashion designers and young fashionistas to express themselves.

The event took place at Pullman Hotels and Resort, bringing together young models (4-14 years old), including 40 girls and 30 boys.

The project aims to disclose the potential of young people in fashion industry.

The young models presented stunning fashion collections from 10 fashion designers.

The winner were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes in various nominations.

The jury included  teacher of Modeling Department at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Honored Artist, fashion designer Fakhriya Khalafova (chairman of the jury),People’s Artist Maleyka Asadova, chairman of the Azerbaijan Association of Women Entrepreneurs Zemfira Aghayeva, head of Ye.S Fashion House , designer Yegyana Sadikhova, famous singer Yashar Yusub, winner of the Best model of Azerbaijan Ilgar Aliyev, head of the Buta children's Center Gunay Aghamaly.  winner of Kids Best Model Azerbaijan Amira Safarova.

The project is headed by Star Kids Group director Aygun Aliyeva. The fashion show continued with spectacular concert.

National artists have successfully displayed their art pieces at Art Gallery Rome in Italy.

Azerbaijan was represented at the exhibition by Rena Amrahova, Aysel Mirgasimova, Leyla Aliyeva, Nihad Aliyev, Leylifar Museibova, Elnara Safarova, Ayla Insanova, Aysel Amirova, Narmina Veliyeva, Leyli Musayeva and Asmar Narimanbayova.

The  event was organized as part of the Artists in the World Events project, bringing together talented artists from Italy, Azerbaijan, Sweden, Turkey and Japan.

Artists in the World Events offers to artists of all nationalities the chance to display their art works in professionals art galleries in Europe. The project aims to focus on the development of artists through art events programme, and membership activities.

At the opening ceremony, Italian art critic Giuseppina Pecoraro highly appreciated the works of national artists.

The works of national artists caused a great interest of art lovers. All participants were awarded diplomas.

Previously, Asmar Narimanbayova, Rena Amrahova, Aysel Mirgasimova, Elnara Safarova, Leyla Aliyeva took part in the International Salon of Contemporary Art in Italy.

The national artists were invited to join art event by Passepartout Unconventional Gallery and curator Elena Ferrari.  

Asmar Narimanbayova acted as a co-curator and participant of the stand, where the works of Azerbaijani artists were displayed.

At the initiative and with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, Azerbaijani houses are established in foreign cities and put into use by our compatriots living abroad.

Report informs citing the State Committee that such a house began to function on December 24 in the German capital Berlin.

Chairman of the State Committee Fuad Muradov noted that December 24 marks a significant day for Azerbaijanis - the birthday of President Ilham Aliyev. He congratulated the president and stressed the country's achievements over the past years.

Muradov stressed the importance of Azerbaijani Houses and said that these places are open to anyone who loves our state and people, and prioritizes our national interests: "The Houses of Azerbaijan are places of support, meetings, and discussions for our compatriots. I hope that these houses will play a serious and important role in creating a network of our compatriots abroad, in the direction of their unity. Our unity, laid down by the creation of coordination councils, will be strengthened even more."

Following the speech, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Germany Ramin Hasanov, Chairman of the Alliance of Azerbaijanis of Germany Yashar Musayev, and others congratulated the head of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on his birthday. The speakers stressed that Azerbaijan is a place of peace and stability. The opening of the House of Azerbaijan abroad on such a significant day indicates "an example of great attention and care for compatriots living abroad."

The event continued with a mugham concert.

The Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency is working to open new private food safety laboratories, adviser to chairman of the Azerbaijani Food Safety Agency Elkhan Mikayilov told Trend on Dec. 25.

"The meetings have been held with entrepreneurs to develop a conceptual design of laboratories, determine the list of laboratory equipment and prepare guidelines for laboratory accreditation procedures this year," adviser to the chairman said.

“The Food Safety Agency has begun to cooperate with several private laboratories already,” Mikayilov said.

"The two laboratories have agreed to mutually recognize the research results,” adviser to the chairman said. “These laboratories ensure the research necessary to issue a certificate for export products."

Report quotes him as saying that he noted that strategic roadmaps support innovative activities of educational institutions.

"Some of our universities include centers that serve as business incubators and basic resources for technology and support start-up projects. But this is not enough," Isayev said.

Higher education institutions in Azerbaijan should focus on research activities: "They need to commercialize this activity. The rapid development of society over the past 25-30 years dictates the need for innovation and moral education, and investments are made in this area."

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, President of the National Olympic Committee Ilham Aliyev has attended a ceremony dedicated to sporting results of 2019 at the National Olympic Committee.

The event then featured an awards ceremony on 2019 sporting results.

The head of state presented certificates of individual pension of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Alavardi Julfayev, Yavuz Eminbayli and Ramiz Hajiyev for their contributions to the development of sport in the country.

Report informs that currently, the amount of the fee for issuing a multiple-entry visa to Azerbaijan makes $350.

In general, it is crucial to consider the principle of reciprocity in determining the rate of state duty for the registration of multiple entry visas for foreigners traveling to the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Thus, the US party charges US $ 160 fee to issue multiple entry visas for citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan for tourist, student and exchange visas, while the US $ 190 for labor, inter-company transfers, and clergy visas.

Starting today, the Ministry of Education has launched a diagnostic assessment of the knowledge and skills of psychologists.

Report quotes, citing the ministry, that up to 2,700 psychologists are to take part in the process, which will last until December 28.
